SCHICK TECHNOLOGIES USBCam It offers the latest in digital video imaging. It capsures full motion video and complements the digital dental office. The USBCam is comfortable and light weight to hold. It supplies clean illumination from its patented LED source. Operation of the camera is so simplified that all dental personnel can obtain high quality images easily. The USBCam is powered by the USB port of the computer in the dental exam room (no external power supply is needed). The camera is thus lightweight (lighter than an electric toothbrush) and extremely portable. The images are stored on the patient's electronic dental chart along with other digital images including their x-rays. Oftentimes insurance claims are facilitated if photos of a tooth (teeth) are available. The electronic patient chart can then be accessed to provide this important information.
